Prior to joining Lancaster Colony in 2016, Dave was the EVP & President of Kraft’s Meal Solutions division, which included brands like Kraft, A1 Sauce, Velveeta, Good Seasons, Bull’s-Eye and Jell-O. Prior to Kraft, Dave spent 13 years at H.J. Heinz Company, where he held leadership roles in corporate strategy, marketing, and mergers & acquisitions. A West Point graduate, Dave is a veteran of U.S. Army. He also earned a master’s degree in Marketing and Finance from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
Tom joined Lancaster Colony as CFO in 2019. Prior to joining Lancaster Colony, Tom was the CFO of MGP Ingredients. Before becoming a public company CFO, he served in several leadership roles including business segment CFO, vice president of internal audit and other finance and strategy positions at Kraft Foods Group, Nestle USA, and Mondelez. Tom started his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he earned his Certified Public Accountant accreditation. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Luis Viso joined Lancaster Colony/T. Marzetti in 2023 as Chief Supply Chain Officer. Prior to T. Marzetti, he was Executive Vice President of Operations for Monster Beverage. He also held operations leadership roles with Diamond Crystal Brands, Keurig Green Mountain, The Coca-Cola Company, and Kraft Foods. Luis earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toledo.
Carl has served as President of T. Marzetti’s retail business since 2018. Prior to this role, he was General Manager and Vice President of Conagra Brands. Before that, he was Vice President of Marketing at Mead Johnson Nutrition and held marketing roles at Proctor & Gamble. Carl earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. He also holds an MBA from University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
Kristin joined T. Marzetti in 2019 as President of the company’s foodservice business. Prior to this role, she served as General Manager of Basic American Foods. Before that, she was Senior Vice President, Foodservice Channel Development of Tyson Foods. She also held roles with Hillshire Brands, Unilever, ConAgra Foods and McCain Foods. Kristin earned a degree in Political Studies from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Liam Durbin has served as Chief Information Officer since 2018. Prior to joining Lancaster Colony/T. Marzetti, he was Executive Partner at Gartner. Before that, Liam served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for American Tire Distributors. He also held IT leadership roles at Heinz and GE. Liam was an Officer in the U.S. Navy for 11 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Mississippi, as well as a master’s in Computer Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School and an MBA from the Rayment A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary.
Juliann has served as Vice President of Business Transformation since 2020. She joined Lancaster Colony/T. Marzetti in 2016 as Director of Integrated Business Planning and Project Management Office. Prior to T. Marzetti, Juliann spent 17 years with Kraft Foods in a variety of Customer Service and Sales Development roles, first supporting the international division and then moving to the domestic side of the business where she held various leadership positions within Project Management, Commercialization, and Integrated Business Planning. Juliann holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Pace University.
Steve joined Lancaster Colony/T. Marzetti in 2017 as Vice President of Research & Development, Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory and was appointed Chief Research,
Development, Engineering and Quality Officer in 2022. Prior to T. Marzetti, Steve spent 23 years at Kraft, including leadership roles in health and wellness, research and development, nutrition and quality. Steve earned his undergraduate degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Iowa State University and his Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from the University of Illinois.
Helena joined Lancaster Colony/T. Marzetti in 2022 as Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining T. Marzetti, she was Vice President, Human Resources at The Wendy’s Company. Prior to that role, Helena spent 17 years at Proctor & Gamble in various HR leadership roles. Helena earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at the Catholic University of Portugal.
Matt Shurte has served as General Counsel and Secretary of Lancaster Colony since 2006. Prior to joining the company, he was an Associate at Jones Day where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities law and corporate governance. Matt earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree from Tulane University Law School.
